Victor built a 1:3 scale kei truck called Truck-Kun for an anime convention, using hoverboard hub motors at each corner on a ladder frame, cardboard and 3D-printed body panels, a leadscrew-and-stepper steering system from a salvaged 3D printer, RP2040 microcontrollers for motor control, and an ESP32-S3 for Xbox One controller input. The 100-pound RC vehicle unfortunately drove into a wall at full throttle and was destroyed, but the builder plans a revised version for next year.
