Build your app's architecture with AI using Gemini in Android Studio

Google is developing a new 'New Project Assistant' feature for Android Studio that integrates Gemini AI into the new project wizard. Developers can provide a text prompt and optional screenshots, and the tool will generate an entire app's scaffolding, architecture, and composed layouts from scratch. It also integrates with the Android emulator to deploy, test, and visually verify the generated app. The feature is currently in active development and available in the latest canary builds, with agent mode already available in stable versions for iterative development.
