Browsercraft allows the unmodified version of Minecraft to run in browsers using CheerpJ, a Java runtime for modern browsers. This is achieved by running an older version (1.2.5) of Minecraft and LWJGL entirely in the browser. The project is still a work-in-progress with some features like audio not yet supported. Programmers are encouraged to contribute to the project.
