Arm Accuracy Super Resolution (ASR) is a free UE5 plugin built on AMD FSR2 and optimized by Arm for mobile GPUs. It reduces GPU load, lowers skin temperatures, and minimizes thermal throttling on mobile devices while maintaining or improving visual quality. Fortnite's integration is highlighted as a case study: the team used ASR to re-enable previously disabled features like ambient occlusion and additional shadow cascades, resolved ghosting artifacts via a reactive mask, and achieved consistent 60Hz gameplay with lower power draw. ASR is platform-agnostic, supporting Vulkan, OpenGL ES, and DirectX 11/12 across Android and iOS.
