Google is introducing a new dark web intelligence capability within Google Threat Intelligence, powered by Gemini AI. It analyzes millions of dark web events daily, autonomously builds an organizational profile based on business context, and surfaces only relevant threats — claiming 98% accuracy versus the 90%+ false positive rates typical of legacy tools. The system can identify threats even when threat actors deliberately avoid naming victims, by cross-referencing contextual signals like revenue brackets, geography, and portal types against the organizational profile.
