Tinybird's Branches feature is now generally available, with three major additions: connector support for Kafka, S3, and GCS; preview deployments from CI that create ephemeral per-PR environments; and agentic development workflows that let coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Devin) safely develop and test data endpoints in isolated sandboxes without touching production. The `--with-connections` flag auto-creates connectors in branches, Kafka connections start stopped by default to avoid unintended production consumption, and S3/GCS supports sample imports. A zero-copy mechanism via ClickHouse storage/compute separation lets branches inherit the latest production partition without duplicating data. The `npx tinybird preview` command integrates with GitHub Actions and auto-resolves branch tokens across Vercel, GitLab CI, CircleCI, and other platforms.
