NVIDIA and GPU MODE are hosting a four-part kernel optimization hackathon focused on Blackwell NVFP4 hardware. Running from November 2025 to February 2026, participants will compete individually to optimize four different GEMM-related kernels (Batched GEMV, GEMM, Gated Dual GEMM, and Grouped GEMM). Winners receive NVIDIA hardware including RTX 5080/5090 and DGX Spark, with a grand prize of a Dell Pro Max with GB300 and GTC 2026 passes for top performers. Submissions are made via the Popcorn CLI and scored based on runtime performance against baseline kernels.
