Best OS for programming? Mac vs Windows vs Linux debate settled

I know the video is the best kind of tongue and cheek, but there is some level of truth if you are also a user of all three. My personal favourite is Linux as I use it on my own home server, but using it for personal use is a bit of a nightmare as it could break on me every time if I accidently update the wrong package 😂 it’s the main reason why I don’t have anything precious on my PC, just in case I have to reinstall.

Linux is incredibly valuable and every developer should run it, but i do also think it’s a bit of a research project and so prone to breaking so i wouldn’t use it for my professional work you know?
So i split the two, i keep a personal laptop running Linux and a work laptop running Windows in my case

When he says windows updates it’s spyware daily 😁

For me MacOS is the best for developing mobile apps, you can develop for Android, iOS, you have access to a Unix-based terminal and prototyping tools like Figma and Sketch.
