<p>My problem with MCP server is they provide basic low level tools and you gotta dive into a lot of details to have an LLM actually use it properly. Most of the time AI need to split a user request in several tools calls and fails to do so unless you explain it clearly. I’ll keep writing my own tools for now.</p>
