BeReal, the social app, is introducing two new features: Behind the Scenes and RealGroups. Behind the Scenes allows users to see a few seconds of video leading up to a photo, similar to iOS Live Photo. RealGroups enables sharing BeReals with a smaller group of close friends, including direct messaging within the group. According to Pew, an estimated 13% of US teens have used BeReal.
