I posted earlier about how you only have about 3 hours of solid deep work a day. If you do more deep work than that, you probably sacrificing future time (eventually you crash). In order to keep working into the afternoon, at Log we’ve divided each task into a deep work task or a shallow work task. So when your brain is tired at 3 o’clock in the afternoon you can pick up shallow work tasks and keep racking up wins.
What do you think of the idea? It seems to be working well for us so far. Especially in getting those little annoying things done in a reasonable time.
