AWS Shield's network security director (currently in preview) now integrates its findings with AWS Security Hub. The feature identifies missing or misconfigured network security services—including AWS WAF, VPC security groups, and VPC network ACLs—across an AWS Organization, and provides remediation recommendations. Findings also appear in the Security Hub Inventory section, with severity determined by the type of misconfiguration and the associated resource's network topology.
