AWS has announced the general availability of AWS Security Agent, an autonomous penetration testing service now available in six AWS regions. The service uses AI agents to perform 24/7 on-demand penetration testing across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments, replacing periodic manual tests with continuous automated security assessments. It discovers and validates vulnerabilities through multi-step attack scenarios, providing CVSS scores, severity ratings, reproduction steps, and remediation guidance. New customers get a 2-month free trial.
