AWS Security Agent now supports penetration testing against VPC resources shared across AWS accounts within the same organization. Using AWS Resource Access Manager (RAM), security teams can share VPC resources from sub-accounts to a central account where testing is conducted. This enables comprehensive security assessments across multi-account environments without needing to deploy agents in each account. To use this feature, accounts must belong to the same AWS Organization, with resource sharing configured via RAM before launching AWS Security Agent in the central account.
