AWS today made a pair of artificial intelligence (AI) agents to manage DevOps workflows and conduct penetration tests generally available.

AWS has made two AI agents generally available: AWS DevOps Agent, which automates incident management and optimizes application reliability using telemetry from observability tools, and AWS Security Agent, which reduces penetration testing time from months to days. The DevOps Agent now integrates with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, PagerDuty, Grafana, and others. Early adopters like T-Mobile report up to 77% reductions in mean time to resolution. The announcement comes amid a broader industry shift where 60% of organizations are actively using AI to build and deploy software, though adoption of AI coding tools is outpacing AI-driven process management.
