AWS released Nova Act, an open source IDE extension that enables developers to build browser automation agents using natural language descriptions. The extension generates agent scripts that can be customized in a notebook-style builder, supports integration with APIs and data sources, and includes predefined templates for common automation scenarios like online shopping, data extraction, and QA testing. Currently available for Visual Studio Code, Cursor, and Kiro with plans for broader IDE support.
