AWS IoT Core introduces two new features: the ability to enrich MQTT messages with additional data from the thing registry and the thing-to-connection association for simplifying permission management. These enhancements allow developers to augment IoT messages without modifying devices, leverage registry information in IoT policies, associate device actions with lifecycle events, and utilize features like custom cost allocation and resource-specific logging. Available in all AWS regions where AWS IoT Core is present.
