AWS Glue Schema Registry, a serverless and free feature of AWS Glue, is now available in three additional regions: Asia Pacific (Jakarta), Europe (Spain), and Europe (Zurich). The Schema Registry provides a centralized repository for managing data schemas between decoupled applications in streaming systems, supporting Apache Avro, JSON, and Protobuf formats. It integrates with Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Apache Flink, and AWS Lambda via Apache-licensed serializers and deserializers for C# and Java applications.
