AWS Cloud Map now supports service-level attributes, allowing you to store and access information at the service level. Custom names for application resources can be defined to discover cloud resource locations via AWS SDK and API queries. This new feature simplifies retrieval, updates, and deletion of service-level information without changes to individual instances, facilitating complex traffic routing, setting timeout and retry values, and coordinating services and integrations.
