Cursor has launched Automations, a feature for building always-on AI agents that run based on user-defined triggers and schedules. Automations can be triggered by events from Slack, Linear, GitHub, PagerDuty, or webhooks. When triggered, the agent runs in a cloud sandbox using configured MCPs and models, and includes a memory tool that allows agents to learn from past runs and improve over time. Automations can be created at cursor.com/automations or started from a template.
