Anthropic has launched the Compliance API for the Claude Platform, giving organization admins programmatic access to audit logs. It tracks two categories of events: admin/system activities (access and configuration changes) and resource activities (file creation, deletion, etc.). The API does not log model inference or direct user-model interactions. It is aimed at regulated industries like finance, healthcare, and legal. To enable it, organizations must contact their account team, create an admin API key, and query the activity feed endpoint. Historical data prior to enablement is not available.
