Asus is beginning to reveal its ROG Ally successor, the ROG Ally X. Don’t call it an Ally 2: it’ll have the same chip and screen when it ships in the second half of 2024.

Asus is revealing the successor to the ROG Ally, called the ROG Ally X. It will have the same chipset and VRR screen, but with a significantly larger battery. Other improvements include more RAM, larger SSD slot, and better repairability. The price of the Ally X will be higher than the original.
