Asus has announced the world's first Thunderbolt 5 external GPU (eGPU), the 2025 Asus XG Mobile. It integrates Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5090 mobile chip, provides up to 140 watts of power, supports dual monitors, and includes multiple ports such as USB, SD, and ethernet. The device also has HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 and significant bandwidth. The top model will be priced at $2,199.99 and a lower-end model at $1,199.99.
