Astro 6 Beta introduces a redesigned development server that runs applications in the same runtime as production, enabling first-class Cloudflare Workers support with access to real platform APIs during development. The release includes stable live content collections for real-time data updates without rebuilds, stable Content Security Policy support for XSS protection, and significant rendering performance improvements. Breaking changes include removal of deprecated APIs like Astro.glob(), Node 22+ requirement, and upgrade to Zod 4.
