One of the most annoying things about .Net announcements like this is that they are extremely vague about whether it’s a .Net feature or whether it’s a Visual Studio feature.
“In the IDE”… Does that mean “In Visual Studio”, or “As a part of the Roslyn Analyzer”?
Visual Studio is only ever mentioned once under “try it out now”.
Rider - the superior C# IDE - already had support for most - if not all - of these features, so I wonder if JetBrains can replace their implementation or if it has literally no impact on it.
I know they are purposely being vague in order to pretend like there’s only one way to work with C#, but it’s very annoying
