Artemis II is preparing to launch astronauts around the moon for the first time in over 50 years, using a combination of proven space shuttle and Apollo-era technologies alongside modern avionics. The mission will test the Orion crew capsule and Space Launch System rocket with a four-person crew on a 10-day journey that includes a close lunar flyby before returning to Earth.
