Arduino, now a Qualcomm subsidiary, has announced the VENTUNO Q, a single-board computer targeting edge AI workloads such as robotics, industrial automation, and computer vision. It features Qualcomm's Dragonwing IQ-8275 processor delivering 40 TOPS of AI compute, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 64GB eMMC storage, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and 2.5Gb Ethernet. The board ships with Ubuntu pre-installed and includes the Arduino App Lab development environment for working with Arduino sketches, Python, and pre-built AI model integrations. Standard Linux tooling like VS Code and Docker is also supported. Canonical and Arduino are collaborating to provide a certified Ubuntu foundation with 10 years of security maintenance. The board is being shown at Embedded World 2026, with no pricing or release date announced yet.
