It runs on top of HDFS and features load balancers to ensure optimal resource utilization across nodes. The load balancers, such as StochasticLoadbalancer, can distribute the load based on various factors like the number of API requests, data locality, and region count per server. The HMaster component manages cluster health by assigning regions to regionservers and balancing the load. StochasticLoadbalancer simulates cluster states, applying cost functions and candidate generators to maintain an even load distribution, optimizing cluster performance.
