AppSignal's MCP Server: Connect AI Agents to Your Monitoring Data

AppSignal has launched a hosted MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint at https://appsignal.com/api/mcp, eliminating the need to run a Docker container to connect AI agents to monitoring data. Developers can now authenticate with a token and give AI coding tools like Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Zed, and VS Code Copilot direct access to AppSignal's 18 tools covering error investigation, anomaly alerts, metrics querying, dashboard management, and app exploration. The integration supports both read and write operations, allowing agents to close incidents, add notes, assign handlers, and build dashboards directly from the editor.
