Apple has launched the AirPods Max 2, the successor to its 2020 premium headphones, priced at $549. Key upgrades include the H2 chip, active noise cancellation up to 1.5x more effective than the original, improved Adaptive Audio and Transparency mode, Live Translation, voice isolation, a high-dynamic-range amplifier for cleaner audio, and enhanced Spatial Audio. The headphones support 24-bit/48 kHz lossless audio via USB-C and will be available in five colors starting March 25 in over 30 countries.
