Apple announced Creator Studio, a subscription bundle launching January 28 for $12.99/month ($129/year) that includes six creative apps: Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad, plus Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac. The bundle also provides premium content for iWork apps and will later include Freeform. Students and educators can subscribe for $2.99/month. New features are coming to Final Cut Pro (Transcript Search, Visual Search, Beat Detection) and Logic Pro (Synth Player, Chord ID, natural language search). All new subscribers receive a one-month free trial.
