Apple has acquired MotionVFX, a Warsaw-based company founded in 2009 that develops plugins, templates, and advanced tools for Final Cut Pro. Financial terms were not disclosed. MotionVFX's professional-grade video editing tools are expected to be integrated into Apple's services. The acquisition is seen as a move to strengthen Apple's Creator Studio subscription bundle and better compete with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Apple's services segment now accounts for over 26% of its revenue, up from 8.5% in 2015.
