The Apache Flink community is excited to announce the release of Flink Kubernetes Operator 1.15.0!
This release brings Kubernetes-native Conditions to FlinkDeployment, Logback logging support, bundled metric reporters, Flink 2.2 compatibility, and a number of important reliability fixes across session jobs, savepoints, and the mutating webhook.

Apache Flink Kubernetes Operator 1.15.0 is now available, introducing Kubernetes-native Conditions in FlinkDeployment status for machine-readable deployment state (usable with kubectl wait and GitOps tools), Logback logging support as an alternative to Log4j2, bundled flink-metrics-dropwizard reporter, and full Flink 2.2 compatibility. Notable bug fixes address race conditions in savepoint/state management, session job deletion getting stuck on finalizers, and terminal jobs being erroneously restarted by health checks. The Helm chart and Docker images are available for immediate use.
