Apache Flink Kubernetes Operator 1.14.0 has been released, introducing native Blue/Green deployment support as its headline feature. The new `FlinkBlueGreenDeployment` custom resource enables zero-downtime upgrades for stateful streaming applications by running two parallel environments, managing savepoints automatically, and switching traffic only after the new deployment is stable. The release covers three key scenarios: full Blue-Green transitions triggered by spec changes, in-place updates for non-critical config changes, and suspend/resume lifecycle control. Helm chart and Docker images are available for immediate use.
