The Apache Flink Community is pleased to announce the second bug fix release of the Flink 2.0 series.
This release includes 34 bug fixes, vulnerability fixes, and minor improvements for Flink 2.0. Below you will find a list of all bug fixes and improvements (excluding improvements to the build infrastructure and build stability). For a complete list of all changes, please see: JIRA.
We highly recommend all users upgrade to Flink 2.

Apache Flink 2.0.2 is the second bug fix release in the Flink 2.0 series, containing 34 bug fixes, vulnerability fixes, and minor improvements. Key fixes include issues with RocksDB shared resources, ForSt state backend errors with GROUP BY and async state execution, SQL job restore failures, SSL connection issues with newer JDK versions, Python CLI argument handling in session mode, and Flink WebUI breakage in Chrome 144+. Maven dependencies, Docker images, and PyPI packages are all updated to 2.0.2. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade.
