Antonio Torralba, MIT professor and researcher in computer vision and machine learning, has been named a 2025 ACM Fellow alongside three MIT alumni. Torralba's research focuses on building systems that perceive the world like humans do, and he recently co-authored an 800-page textbook on computer vision foundations. The ACM Fellowship is the highest honor from the professional organization, recognizing outstanding accomplishments in computing and information technology.
