Anthropic has launched Project Glasswing, a multi-vendor cybersecurity initiative involving major tech companies including AWS, Apple, Google, Microsoft, and others. The initiative was prompted by findings from Claude Mythos Preview, which demonstrated that frontier AI models can discover and exploit vulnerabilities faster than most humans can remediate them. Separately, Anthropic donated $1.5 million to the Apache Software Foundation to support the resilience, security, and independence of open-source infrastructure that underpins modern AI and software systems.
