Godot 4.7 dev 3 and dev 4 releases bring a range of quality-of-life improvements. Highlights include vertex snapping (hold B to snap mesh vertices to each other), an inline mesh library editor for GridMaps, transform offsets for UI control nodes (translate/rotate/scale without disrupting container layout), a quick search bar in popup menus, class names instead of object IDs in the remote scene view, improved drag-and-drop visual feedback in the scene tree, crisper low-resolution rendering for retro-style games, Android picture-in-picture support, and Linux/BSD HDR output support. Earlier dev releases added virtual joysticks, drawable textures, copy-paste of property categories, monospace fonts in the UI, animation track collapsing, and Windows/Apple HDR support.
