So now we have 3 different JS runtimes based on the main browser engines:

What’s next, Chakra?
All of this is nice, but in a real world app none of these except Node are yet widely supported (sadly), specially on serverless platforms and on major JS frameworks like Next.
I use Bun for running maintenance tasks and tests locally and on the CI/CD. That’s a good way of using these new technologies.

I don’t buy the benchmarks personally. @ThePrimaGen debunked this in his video:

I do think its still worth developing though, my point is just, always be skeptical of benchmarks because much like all other forms of statistics, it can mislead you.
