Windows Insider Preview Build 29558.1000 has been released to the Canary Channel. The main highlights are significant Windows Console (Console Host) improvements synced from the open-source Windows Terminal project, including: an optional Direct3D rendering path, regex search in the Find dialog, bold font rendering, paste reliability fixes, accessibility rewrites, OSC 52 clipboard support, Sixel image support, and up to ~10x scrolling performance improvements. Additional fixes include an Azure Virtual Desktop authentication error, power settings performance, chkdsk support for volume paths with spaces, and a Group Policy Editor error removal.
