The Computing Community Consortium (CCC) is hosting a webinar on May 20, 2026, exploring the convergence of citizen science and advanced computing research. Authors of the CCC Grand Challenges report will discuss how AI and other technologies can augment citizen science projects, address national priorities, and what infrastructure changes are needed for large-scale convergence. Guest speaker Marc Kuchner (NASA Citizen Science Officer) and Tanya Berger-Wolf (Ohio State University) will give lightning talks, followed by a live Q&A with the report's lead authors.
