Callstack has packaged React Native optimization knowledge from their Ultimate Guide into structured agent-ready skills for AI coding tools. The `react-native-best-practices` repository contains 27 skills across JavaScript, native iOS/Android, and bundling categories, all mapped to FPS and TTI metrics. Each skill follows a consistent structure covering when to use it, prerequisites, steps, examples, pitfalls, and related links. Skills can be installed into AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Opencode via a single CLI command. A concrete example covers enabling R8 code shrinking on Android, including common pitfalls with reflection-based libraries and how to verify results. Future plans include connecting visual profiling tools via MCP.
