Heroku has launched new larger PostgreSQL database plans with up to 768 GB RAM, 96 cores, and 4 TB storage capacity, starting at $5800 monthly. The new level 9 plans support demanding workloads and complex datasets, available across Standard, Premium, Private, and Shield tiers. Existing users can upgrade from levels 6-8, while new databases can be provisioned using simple CLI commands.
