Kubescape 4.0 has been released, bringing enterprise-grade stability and new AI-era capabilities to open source Kubernetes security. Key highlights include the general availability of Runtime Threat Detection powered by CEL-based rules, GA of Kubescape Storage using the Kubernetes Aggregated API for scalable security metadata management, and removal of the host-sensor in favor of a unified node-agent architecture. The release also introduces a KAgent-native plugin enabling AI assistants to analyze Kubernetes security posture, and adds 15 Rego-based security controls specifically for scanning KAgent AI orchestration infrastructure. CIS Benchmark support has been updated for Kubernetes 1.12, EKS, and AKS 1.8.
