Gradle Enterprise 2017.1 introduces several new features for build insight and optimization. Key highlights include a build comparison tool to detect dependency changes between builds, a timeline visualization for identifying task execution bottlenecks, a Network Activity tab showing dependency download metrics, and an Export API for integrating build data with external systems via Server-Sent Events. The release also adds visibility into why tasks are not cacheable, a task performance summary, negative tag filtering for build search, and faster build scan search performance.
