AWS has launched M4 Max Mac instances on EC2, powered by Mac Studio hardware with Apple M4 Max chips. These instances feature a 16-core CPU, 40-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine, and 128GB unified memory, delivering up to 25% better application build performance compared to M1 Ultra Mac instances. They're designed for building and testing applications across Apple platforms (iOS, macOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, visionOS, Safari) with up to 10 Gbps network bandwidth and 8 Gbps EBS storage bandwidth. Currently available in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions.
