Okay, I need to say that. I’m shocked that anime is sooo popular right now. When I was younger like 15 y.o. everybody hated you for watching anime. Boys could be bullied and humiliated because of it. AND NOW you are some kind of a loser if you DON’T watch it. It’s really insane. I know that this coul be a bit aout of the theme, but guys…insane…

I am learning Japanese too. In addition to programming languages, it is essential to know a foreign language to get by these days.

yeah, we should focus more on skills that earn us money especially in these day and age where everything is pushing consumer-culture and essentially robbing us of our youth and time. i still remember the days where anime used to be our own little retreat, a comfort zone and every week we used to wait for the episode of some of the best works of the industry. Now i can’t even bring myself to watch an anime episode. it just doesn’t hit like it used to. can anyone relate?

how did this happen? literally a decade ago you’d get shamed for watching anime but now it’s the norm?

It is. As a consumer , the memories anime has given in my childhood and present time is priceless. Besides, just a beginner at trying to make my way to producer, how are you guys grinding the progress ?
