Anduril Industries launched EagleEye, a modular mixed-reality helmet system that integrates AI, sensor feeds, and command-and-control tools into soldiers' field of vision. Founded by Palmer Luckey (Oculus creator), the system builds on Anduril's Lattice software and comes after the company took control of Microsoft's troubled $22B IVAS military headset program. Anduril recently secured a $159M contract to prototype mixed-reality systems for the U.S. Army and partnered with Meta to develop extended reality devices for military applications.
