Android’s new Theft Detection Lock helps deter smartphone snatch and grabs

Android introduces Theft Detection Lock to protect against smartphone theft by automatically locking the device if a common motion associated with theft is detected. It also includes an Offline Device Lock feature and makes it more difficult for thieves to factory reset stolen devices remotely.
