An open-source model that dwarfs GPT-3 aims to free AI from Big Tech

BLOOM is a large language model (LLM) that promises a similar performance to Silicon Valley’s leading systems. While tech giants tend to keep their vaunted LLMs hidden from the public, BLOom is available to anyone and free of charge. The model can generate text in 46 natural dialects and over 100 languages.
